THE PUBLICATION

Privacy Policy

This policy covers Quarter Atlas, not MyUW, the University of Washington or an external site reached through a link.

Responsible publisher: toma. Privacy contact: lisatomal@gmail.com.

The context compass

The compass asks for category selections: home campus, course campus and task stage. It has no free-text field, student identifier, file upload, credential input or payment field. Its selections and generated explanations stay in the current page and are not saved or sent by the tool. Resetting or reloading clears them. Software elsewhere on your device is outside this tool’s control.

Reading-position memory is optional

You can read every article without it. Optional memory starts off and is enabled only through a valid consent choice. Use Cookie settings in the footer to review or withdraw that choice. The Cookie Policy lists the browser records and their duration.

Website delivery

Visiting https://makerbasedblog.com/ sends ordinary requests to the services that deliver this website. Those services may process an IP address, requested page or asset, request time, browser information and referring address for delivery, security or diagnostics. Which records are kept, where they are processed and how long they remain depend on the services and their settings. Any specific details supplied by the publisher are listed below; the reading-storage duration does not describe server-log retention.

Editorial tools and browser storage

The context compass runs in the current page. Its code does not submit your campus selections, task stage or results to the publisher or an outside service. Exercise choices and results are not saved. Optional reading positions are read and written in this browser. The preference cookie records your reading choice and is sent with matching website requests by your browser. The Cookie Policy lists these records and their duration.

Email correspondence

An email link opens your email service. Sending email shares the message, sender address and related delivery information with the sender’s and recipient’s email services and the publisher. These services handle email separately from the reading controls. Any specific correspondence-retention or processing-location details supplied by the publisher are listed below; the reading-storage duration does not describe email retention. For questions or requests concerning correspondence, contact lisatomal@gmail.com. Do not send credentials, financial identifiers or private business documents.

Other website technologies

The context compass and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.

Messages to the publisher

An email link opens your email service. If you send a message, its content and sender details are processed by your email service and the recipient’s email service.Send only information needed for your editorial or privacy question. The publisher can answer questions about correspondence and requests for access, correction or deletion through the contact address.

Use only the information needed for a publication question. Do not email private student records, medical information, financial identifiers or credentials. A message here is not a university case, enrollment request, document submission or payment instruction.

Links to other services

Following an official-source link leaves this publication. The destination controls its own data practices. No university sign-in, third-party video, external webfont or analytics script is embedded by this publication.

Scope and questions

The controls described here govern the publication features identified in this policy, not unrelated software or every service a host may operate. Contact the publisher about this website; use the external service’s own privacy contact for that service.
